Dr. Vernamonti’s awards include; the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, Chairman of the Year Award, Distinguished Service Award, Special Recognition Award and Physician of the Quarter Award by Kennedy University Hospital SDU.
Dr. Vernamonti is a founding member of the American Optometric Society and has also served as; Boardmember for the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, founder and chair or the NJSOP Clinical Care Committee, member of the Instituitonal Care Committee, Member Programs Committee , Eye Care Benefits Committee, and chair of Continuing Education for the Annual Congress. He has also served on the Medical Records and Peer Review Committee at Kennedy University Hospital and as area Study Group Chair for the American Congress of Optometric Physicians.
